On our October meeting we had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Phil Oritz owner and manufacture of the famous Flounder Pounder Lures. As our guest speaker Phil brought to the table a lot of professional information and knowledge on flounder fishing with flounder pounder baits, using different techniques to assure the catch. Mr. Ortiz also talked about the great hatchery we have here in Texas. The Sea Center  Program in Lake Jackson is where Mr. Ortiz transfers his flounder catches alive, using the Oxygen Response System for flounder restoration. 

In closing, we like to thank you and your brother Joe for sharing your professionalism on flounders and its habitat.  Mr. Ortiz and his brother Joe shared more than you can imagine, the expertise in catching and restoring those beautiful flattys.
